PRESENTATION
Amazing is the 1st international contest focused on the development of innovative initiatives in the Amazon. The main objective is to stimulate the technological development of disruptive and entrepreneurial solutions using the resources of the Amazon in a sustainable way.
Promoted by the organizer Major Tom, it counts on the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations, SOFTEX and the Research Center for Morphology and Applied Immunology (Nupmia) of the Medical School of the Federal University of Brasilia (UnB).
The main topics of interest will be identified and, from there, we will form challenges open to the participation of national and international companies. Innovative products, processes or services in all technological areas will be accepted.
The 10 best initiatives may receive up to R$500,000 each, including resources from investors and subsidies for technological development, as well as recognition from specialists of their relevance and viability.
